Lieutenant WILLIAM THOMAS YOUNG of 12 Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery died on 12 July 1917.
He is buried in Brandhoek Military Cemetery near Ypres.

He is remembered on the war memorial at Goldsmiths College, New Cross.
Details:
He was 36, the son of Thomas and Agnes Young, of Southport, Lancs. He was a lecturer in English Language and Literature at the University of London and one of the staff at Goldsmith’s College.
