Wyres, Thomas Abraham

Dates: 1890-1917

War Service: Thomas Abraham Wyres served as a Lance Corporal with the Lancashire Fusiliers and his service number was 14759. He died on 26th October 1917, aged 27.

Location of Memorial: He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:In 1901 he was recorded living at Hampshire Cottages, 1 Old Woolwich Road, Greenwich with his parents Arthur and Caroline. He had two brothers, William and Alfred, and two sisters, Elizabeth and Caroline.
