Wilkinson, Gordon Frederick Noble

War Service:
Second Lieutenant with the 10th Bn King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. He died 1 July 1916 aged 23 on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial [Pier and Face 11C and 12A].

He is remembered on the memorial at St Margaret's, Lee

Details:
He was the son of Robert Daniel and Kate Wilkinson, of Blackheath, London. Educated at Westminster School.
