HENRY EDWARD WIGLEY was injured on 16 August 1944 in an air raid on the Royal Victoria Victualling Yard in Deptford. He died later the same day at the Seaman’s Hospital in Greenwich.

Location of Memorial: He is remembered on the war memorial near the gates of the former Royal Victoria Victualling Yard, Deptford.

He was 56. He was the husband of Lydia Wigley of 74 St. Agnes Place, Kennington.
