Webb, Frederick Walter

War Service: Frederick Walter Webb served as a Corporal with the 12th Battalion East Surrey Regiment. His service number was 12333. He enlisted on 23rd June 1915 and he gave his address as 225 Grove Street, Deptford. He was employed as a labourer. He was promoted to corporal on 10 March 1916. He died 15 September 1916

Location of Memorial: He is remembered on the memorial at the church of St. Luke, Evelyn Street, Deptford.

Details: Frederick Walter Webb was born c1895 to Frederick Walter and Jessie Elizabeth Webb.

In 1911 he was recorded living at 225 Grove Street, Deptford with his parents and his siblings William and Jessie. Five of his siblings had already died.
