Gunner 180049 CHARLES WILLIAM WATKINS of ‘B’ Battery, 165 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died on 26 September 1918.

He is buried in La Kreule Military Cemetery, Hazebrouck.

He is remembered on the war memorial at South Lee Tabernacle, Grove Park.

Details:
He was 34 years old, the son of Charles and Emma Maria Watkins, of Camberwell. He married Gladys Emily Matthews in the spring of 1914. They lived in Crystal Palace Road, East Dulwich.
