Warren, Percy

Dates: [1895-1915]

War Service: Percy Warren enlisted on 1st September 1914 and served as a Private with The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). His service number was G/637. He died whilst on active service on 13th October 1915.

Location of Memorial: He is commemorated on panel 15-19 at the Loos memorial and he is remembered locally on the war memorial at the church of St Luke, Deptford.

Details: Percy's parents were John and Lucy Warren who lived at 46 Shere Road, Deptford. He had one brother, Ernest and seven sisters; Violet, Lily, Mabel, Doris, Annie, Ivy and Alice. Before joining the Army, Percy was employed as a brass turner.
