Details: William George Walters was born on 25th October 1896 and was baptised on 18th November 1896 at St Paul's Church, Deptford. At this time the family were living at 95 Napier Street, Deptford.
In 1911 he was recorded living at 16 Ludwick Road, Deptford with his parents, William and Louisa, and was employed as a coffee roaster. He had two brothers, Arthur and Thomas Alfred, and three sisters, Margaret Elizabeth, Winifred and Florence Amelia.
