Lance Corporal L/13949 OTTO JOHN MARK WALDEN of ‘H’ Company, 2nd battalion Middlesex Regiment was killed in action on 14 March 1915, aged 23. He enlisted at Mill Hill, he had previously been in the Middlesex Regiment Special Reserve and worked as an engineer’s labourer.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Le Touret memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial in the church of St Michael and All Angels in Sydenham.

Details:
He was the brother of Mrs. R. E. Hollis, of 22, Dallas Rd., Sydenham. He was born in Willesden and worked as an engineer's labourer.
