Private STANLEY EDGAR TURNER of 2nd battalion The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) was killed in action on 28 May 1915, aged 22. He enlisted in Deptford.

Location of Memorial:
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate in Ypres. He is remembered on the war memorial at St Peter’s church, Brockley and the Lewisham Council Staff Memoral.

Details:
He was born in Kemsing, Kent. He was the son of Clara Turner, of 4, Killear Rd., Catford, and the late Benjamin Turner.
