Private M2/061745 JOHN TROUSDALE of the Motor Transport section of the Army Service Corps died in Lewisham Military Hospital on 5 February 1918. He had been invalided home from Mesopotamia suffering from tuberculosis of the spine.

He is buried in the churchyard of St Augustine’s church in Kirkby-in-Cleveland, North Yorkshire.

Location of Memorial:
His name also appears on the memorial outside University Hospital Lewisham.

Details:
He was 29. When he enlisted in Stokesly in Yorkshire he gave his occupation as farm labourer.
