Sergeant (Bomb Aimer) JOHN ALEXANDER TODD Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 10 March 1943 when his 103 Squadron Lancaster was shot down on its way to bomb Munich. Two days later, on 12 March 1943, Peter Harris another former pupil of Brockley County who was also serving in 103 Squadron was shot down on a bombing raid on Essen.

He is buried in Lavannes Churchyard near Reims.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School Book of Remembrance.

He was 32. He was the son of Alexander and Jessie Todd.
