Tite, Henry William

War Service:
Company Sergeant Major HENRY WILLIAM TITE of 7th battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) was killed in action on 13 December 1917.
He enlisted in Bromley. He joined the RWK on 11 November 1914 at the age of 29 and within a year was a Company Sergeant Major. He had previously served with the Royal Marine Light Infantry.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He was remembered on the on the war memorial at the Mazawattee Tea Company in Deptford.

Details:
He lived in Folkestone Gardens, Deptford with his wife Alice who he married in 1906.
