Tessier, Herbert Cyril

War Service:
Flying Officer (Navigator) HERBERT CYRIL TESSIER Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 24 May 1944 while serving with 293 Squadron. At this period the squadron was based at Pomigliano, near Naples flying air sea rescue patrols over the Mediterranean.

He is buried in Naples War Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered in the pages of the History of the Catford Cycling Club.

Details:
He was 29, having been born in Wandsworth in the autumn of 1914. He was the son of Sydney and Florence Tessier, of Herne Bay, Kent.
