Lance Corporal 633244 ALFRED SYMONS of 2nd/20th (Blackheath and Woolwich) battalion, the London Regiment died on 30 April 1918.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial.

He is remembered on the memorial at Perry Rise Baptist Church, Sydenham and also on the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour.

He was the son of the late William and Mary Symons, of Langaford Farm, Ashwater, Devon and husband of Theodora Helena Symons, of 89, Perry Hill, Catford.
