Stewart, Edward Henry Cecil

Rifleman EDWARD H. C. STEWART of the 1/5th (City of London) battalion London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) was killed on 1 July 1916, the first day of the Battle of the
Somme.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial in St George's church, Catford and in the pages of the History of the Catford Cycling Club.
