Second Lieutenant RALPH NEVILLE STAIGHT of 3rd battalion Somerset Light Infantry was killed in action on 24 March 1917, aged 26.
He had previously served with 10th (Prince of Wales's Own Royal) Hussars and had been wounded at Ypres in 1915. He was commissioned on 7 July 1916.

He is buried in Beaurains Road Cemetery, near Arras.

He is remembered on the memorial at Blackheath Congregational Church.

Details:
He was the younger son of Stephen and Margaret Staight, of The Battlefields, Bath.
