Gunner 911530 CHARLES HENRY SPEIGHT of ā€˜Dā€™ Battery, 317 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery was killed in action on 26 June 1918, aged 18.

He is buried in Louvencourt Military Cemetery near Doullens.

Location of Memorial:
He remembered on the memorial at the church of St Catherine, Hatcham and the war memorial which stood in Monson Road in New Cross.

Details:
He was the son of Sydney Charles and Jessie Speight, of New Cross.
