Private William Sparkes, 13th (County of London) Battalion (Princess Louise’s Kensington Battalion), London Regiment, he enlisted at St. Swithin’s Lane and was killed in action on the 8th October 1916, aged 20.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
