Second Lieutenant REGINALD SILVESTER* of the 20th battalion London Regiment was killed in action on 7 June 1917, aged 24. (Note: shown as *Silverter on Roll, other details correlate)

He has no known grave and is remembered on the Menin Gate at Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial at St Laurence, Catford and also on the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour.

Details: He was the son of George and Sarah Silvester, of 4, Canadian Avenue, Catford. His brother Percy was killed on 26 September 1915 also while serving in the 20th.
