Private 282894 WILLIAM JAMES SIDERY of the 2/3rd Battalion London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) died on 26 October 1917, aged 26. He had previously served with the 4th Battalion.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial near Ypres.

He is remembered on memorial at Northbrook School War Memorial, Lee.

Details:
He was the son of Charles and Eleanor Sidery of 12 Weardale Road, Lee, and husband of Doris Sidery.
