Second Lieutenant CECIL GEORGE SHADDICK of the 1st battalion the Dorsetshire Regiment was killed in action on 7 August 1916, aged 23.

He is buried in Cambrin churchyard extension on the Somme.

He is remembered on the memorial at St Andrew’s church, Brockley.

Details:
He was the younger son of Charles and Kate Shaddick of 3, Adelaide Rd., Brockley.
