Private 370635 JOHN G SEXTON of 121 Prisoner of War Company of the Labour Corps died in Greenwich on 18 December 1919, aged 38. The Labour Corps PoW Companies put the skills of German prisoners to use in a non combatant role eg forestry or engineering. He had previously served as private 438 in the 3rd battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment). He went to France with the battalion on 27 December 1914 but was invalided out in 1916.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.
