Private 30820 FREDERICK LEONARD SCREECH of 13th (Service) battalion Welsh Regiment (2nd Rhondda) died on 6 August 1918.

He is buried in Fienvillers British Cemetery near Doullens.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorials in All Saints Sydenham and St Michael and All Angels, Sydenham.

Details:
He was 21 years old. He was the son of Walter and Ada Screech, of Watlington Grove, Lower Sydenham. His brother Albert Walter Screech died in 1917 while serving with the Coldstream Guards and is buried in Ladywell cemetery.
