Lance Corporal 11746 ALBERT WALTER SCREECH of 3rd battalion Coldstream Guards died in Camberwell on 10 November 1917.

He is buried in Ladywell cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorials in All Saints Sydenham and St Michael and All Angels, Sydenham.

Details:
He was 24 years old. He was the son of Walter and Ada Screech, of Watlington Grove, Lower Sydenham and husband of Adele Screech, of Fambridge Rd., Lower Sydenham. His brother Frederick Leonard Screech was killed in 1918 while serving with the Welsh Regiment.
