Second Lieutenant WILLIAM AMOS SANTLER of 8th battalion East Surrey Regiment was killed in action on 13 June 1916, aged 25. He was posted to the E. Surreys on 8 February 1915.

He is buried in Carnoy Cemetery.

He is also remembered on the memorial at Haberdashers' Aske’s school, New Cross.

Details:
He was the son of Mr. A. N. Santler and the late Mrs. Santler, of Blackheath, and husband of Isabel Santler of 3, St. Mark's Court, Abercom Place, St. John's Wood. They married in the autumn of 1915.
