Private OLIVER NORMAN SALTMARSH, 4055, 1st/15th Bn., London Regiment (Prince of Wales' Own Civil Service Rifles), was killed in action age 19 on 15 September 1916.
He enlisted in June 1915.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme [Pier and Face 13 C].

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the Sydenham, Forest Hill and District Tradesmen's Memorial and the Sydenham Wesley Hall Memorial.

Details:
Son of Henry and Edith Saltmarsh, of Hareford End, Chelmsford. Enlisted June, 1915.
