Pilot Officer DENNIS ERIC RYDER was killed in a flying accident on 27 September 1939 while serving with 100 Squadron based at Seletar, Singapore. He was the pilot of a Vickers Vildebeest torpedo bomber which crashed in the sea and sank.
He was lost at sea and is remembered on the Singapore Memorial
