Private 531192 ALEC ROTHERHAM of 2/15th battalion London Regiment (Prince of Wales' Own Civil Service Rifles) died on 2 November 1917, aged 26. At the time of his death he was serving with 179 Trench Mortar Battery.

He is buried in Kantara War Memorial Cemetery in Egypt.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial at Goldsmiths College, New Cross where he worked in the Science department.

Details:
He was the son of Joseph and Harriet Rotherham, of 29, Ardoch Rd., Catford.
