War Service: L/Cpl ARTHUR WILLIAM ROEDEAR (7622) 2 Btn Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. He died of Wounds 16 May 1915. He was an Old Contemptible.

He is buried in Bethune Town Cemetery Grave Reference III.C.79.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial at the Church of the Ascension, Blackheath.

Details: He was the son of William and Amelia Roedear and lived at 26 Lethbridge Road, Lewisham. His neighbours at no. 25 were the brothers Reginald Groves and Cyril Groves.
