War Service:
Bombardier 37078 FREDERICK RICHARDSON of 48th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery died on 14 September 1914.
He is believed to be one of the nine 9 members of 48 Heavy Battery killed on 14 September when the barrel of one of their 60-pounder guns burst.

They were originally buried in Brenelle churchyard but in 1918 they were moved to Vailly British Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
Frederick Richardson is remembered on the memorial at Holy Trinity church, Sydenham.
