War Service: Frank Graham Reilly served as a Lance Corporal with 1st Battalion The Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) and his service number was S/1073 . He re-enlisted on 10th October 1914 after previously serving for 12 years with the Royal West Kent Regiment. He died on 27th May 1914 and he is buried at grave I. A. 11 at Voormezeele Enclosure no 1 and 2.
Location of Memorial: Frank Reilly is remembered on the war memorial at the church of St Luke's, Deptford.
Details: Frank Graham Reilly was born in Calcutta in 1880, the son of clerk, George Reilly. In 1909 Frank married Matilda Ferney and their son, Frank Graham, was born in 1912. They lived at 37 Staunton Road and later at 53 Dorking Road, Deptford. At the time of the 1911 census, Frank was employed as a labourer at the docks but by the time he enlisted in 1914 his occupation is described as printer.
