Sergeant (Navigator) CHARLES HENRY REEVE Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve died on 17 December 1943 while serving with 156 Squadron. He was 20. His Lancaster took off from RAF Warboys in Cambridgeshire at 1636 on 16 December to bomb Berlin. At 0010 on 17 December it crashed in bad visility near Sutton in Cambridgeshire. This was one of two 156 Squadron Lancasters lost on this operation.

He is buried in Cambridge City Cemetery.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School Book of Remembrance and also on the memorial to choristers and servers at St John The Baptist

Details:
He was the son of William and Lilian Reeve of Balham.
