Rawston, William Walter

Lance Corporal G/6078 WILLIAM WALTER RAWSTON of the Middlesex Regiment died in Sevenoaks registration district on 27 February 1919 of chronic malaria. He first went to France on 24 March 1915.

He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the South Metropolitan Gasworks World War 1 memorial in the Millennium Complex Central Park, John Harrison Way, Greenwich.

Details:
He was born in Greenwich in 1891, the son of George and Eliza Rawston.
