Quinn, Edward

War Service:
Rifleman S/17624 Edward Quinn 16 Battalion Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consorts Own). Killed in action 3 September 1916 aged 21.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial at St Michael and All Angels Sydenham.

Details:
He was the son of Mrs. Alice Mary Quinn, of 13, Bell Green, Lower Sydenham and one of five brothers who went to war only one of whom returned. His brothers Arthur John Quinn, Charles Quinn and John Quinn, also died. Their brother George Alfred Quinn survived the war alone.
