War Service:
Rifleman 2351 GEORGE JOSEPH SEGUIN PORTCH of ‘B’ company, 1/8th battalion London Regiment (Post Office Rifles) was posted as missing in action on 21 May 1916.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial in the Post Office Delivery Office at 4 Creek Road, Deptford.

Details:
He was born in Camberwell in the autumn of 1894. He was the son of George Seguin Portch and Harriet Emma Portch, of "Fairlawn", 1, Shakespeare Road, Harpenden, Herts.
