Pilot Officer REGINALD ERNEST STANLEY PINK Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 1 August 1942 while serving with 9 Squadron. Wellington BJ878 took of from RAF Honington at 0123 on 1 August to bomb Dusseldorf but crashed at 0301 near the target.
All the crew are buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
Location of Memorial:
His name is remembered on the war memorial at St Dunstan’s College and in the pages of the History of The Old Dunstonian Rugby Football Club.
