Phillips, Joseph Buckle

War Service:
Ordinary Seaman J/68837 JOSEPH BUCKLE PHILLIPS died on 16 July 1918 when the sloop HMS Anchusa was torpedoed off the NW coast of Ireland.

He was lost at sea and is commemorate on the Plymouth Naval Memorial.

Details:
He was born in Greenwich in the spring of 1884 and married in Lewisham in the summer of 1906.
