Driver HERBERT THOMAS PETHYBRIDGE of 317 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died of wounds on 29 October 1918, aged 38.

He is buried in Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorials at the church of St James, Hatcham and Catford Bridge Football Club.

Details:
He was the son of William James and Hannah Pethybridge and husband of Norah Frances Pethybridge, of 19, Avenue Elmers, Surbiton. They married in Camberwell in the summer of 1905.
