Pilot Officer (Wireless Operator.Air Gunner) LESLIE HERBERT PATTISSON RAFVR was killed in action on the night of 4/5 May 1943 while serving with 15 Squadron.
His Stirling bomber LS-M took off from RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk to attack Dortmund but crashed near Anholt killing six of the eight men on board.

PO Pattisson was buried in Reichwald Forest War Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered in the book of remembrance at Addey and Stanhope school in Deptford.

Details:
He was 28 years old, the son of Herbert Henry and Alice Louisa Pattisson.
