Parker, Albert Victor

Dates: 1892-1916

War Service: Albert Victor Parker served as a Second Lieutenant with the 19th Battalion London Regiment. He died on 19th November 1916, aged 24, and is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate memorial.

Details: Albert Victor Parker was the son of George Thomas and Ellen Frances Parker. He was baptised on 22nd May 1892 at St Paul's Church, Deptford. In 1911 he was recorded living at 8 Trim Street, New Cross with his parents and sister, Delia Ellen and he was employed as a clerk at a biscuit bakers.
