Private S/786 WILLIAM JOB PACKER of ‘A’ Company, 8th battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) died on 6 April 1916. He had previously served for 6 years with the RWKents.

He is buried in Dranoutre Military Cemetery, Belgium .

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the Sydenham South Suburban Gas Works war memorial.

Details:
He was the son of Jane Packer and husband of Irene Violet Packer, of 4, Creeland Grove, Catford Hill. They married on 1 January 1912 and had two daughters. At the time of re-enlistment on 10 September 1914 he was working as a farrier.
