Owen, Arthur Trevor

War Service:
Lance Corporal Arthur Trevor Owen, 17th (County of London) Battalion (Poplar and Stepney Rifles), London Regiment, died on the 9th November 1918, aged 22. He initially enlisted in the 5th Battalion London Regiment but later transferred to the 17th Battalion. Prior to his death he had served in France, Salonika and Egypt.

He is buried and remembered in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.

He is remembered on the memorials at St Andrew's Church, Catford.

Details:
He was the son of Arthur and Bessie Owen (one of four children) of 27 Dowanhill Road, Hither Green.
