Flying Officer (Air Bomber) JOHN WILLIAMSON OAKLEY Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed on 25 May 1944 while serving with 158 Squadron. His was one of five Halifaxes from 158 Squadron lost on this raid on Aachen.

He is buried in Dongen Roman Catholic cemetery in Holland.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School Book of Remembrance.

Details:
He was 22. He was the son of Hermann and Helen Oakley of Catford.
