War Service:
Sapper Walter Henry Nudds, 46th Broad Gauge Railway Operating Coy, Royal Engineers. He enlisted in to the Royal West Kents, aged 17, but was transferred to the Labour Corps after being wounded on the 26th September 1917. He was then transferred to the Royal Engineers and died on 30th October 1918, aged 20, from bronchial pneumonia.

He is buried and remembered in Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension.

He has no known local memorial .

Details:
He was the son of Henry and Lydia Nudds of 58 Sandhurst Road, Catford, his brother Albert Victor Nudds also died.
