Rifleman 291 GEORGE PATRICK NORTHAM of 1 Company, 1/5th battalion London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) was killed in action on 3 May 1915, aged 21.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres

He is remembered on the memorial at the church of St James, Hatcham.
Details:
He was the son of John Northam, of 27, Vicars Hill, Ladywell and the late Elizabeth Jane Northam. His brother John died on 15 September 1917 while serving with the Civil Service Rifles.
