GEORGE NORMAN was killed on 16 August 1944 [Incorrectly recorded in the Civilian War Dead Register as 16 July] in an air raid on the Royal Victoria Victualling Yard in Deptford.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial near the gates of the former Royal Victoria Victualling Yard, Deptford.

He was 56. He was the son of George Norman, Ernsborough House, Colleton Crescent, Exeter and of the late Mary Norman and husband of Catherine Norman of 97 Tressillian Road.
