Rifleman S/26413 FREDERICK CHARLES NOAKES of 11th battalion Rifle Brigade was killed in action on 24 February 1917, aged 40.

He has no known grave and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme.

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the the war memorial at Holy Trinity church Hounslow and on the Sydenham, Forest Hill & District Tradesmens' War Memorial.

Details:
He was the son of Mr. C. Noakes, of 5, Cromwell St., Hounslow. He lived in Sydenham.
