War Service: Albert E Newman served as a Sapper with the Royal Engineers and his service number was 364327. He died on 12th June 1919, aged 40, at Greenwich.

Location of Memorial: He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.
