Naylor, David Arthur

War Service: David Arthur Naylor served as an Able Seaman in the Royal Navy on the H.M.S. Albermarle. His service number was J/18657. He died 7 November 1915 and is buried at Osmondwall cemetery.

Location of Memorial: David Naylor is remembered on the war memorial at St Paul's Church, Deptford.

Details:
David Arthur Naylor, born 31st May 1896, was the son of Henry David and Emily Henrietta Naylor, of 79 Oakridge Road, Downham Estate. He was baptised on 25th August 1898 at Christchurch, Greenwich.

In 1911 he was employed in a bakery and living at 8 Bennett Street, John Penn Street, Greenwich with his family. He had two brothers Sidney and John, and two sisters Violet and Ethel.
